Lightsight is an AI consulting team building data infrastructure and AI software solutions for small to midsized companies. We're growing fast, and you'd be joining early - with real ownership over the systems and decisions that shape how we scale. You'll work across data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, internal tooling, and client-facing solutions.
Required Skills
- Programming experience. Professional experience or a strong project portfolio. Be ready to walk us through something you've owned end to end.
- Modern AI tooling. Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar.
- LLM fundamentals. Solid understanding of prompting techniques, context management, tool use, hallucination, and RAG.
- Git. Comfortable with branches, merges, and pull requests.
- OOP. Strong grasp of object-oriented principles and when to apply them.
- Soft skills. Collaborative, communicative, organized, and curious. Comfortable working directly with clients.
Nice to have
- Cloud experience. Azure preferred; AWS or GCP also useful.
- Project management. Agile, Scrum.
- Design patterns.
- Networking & web protocols. REST/HTTP, TLS, DNS, MCP.
- Infrastructure. Docker, Bicep.
- Cloud networking. VNets, subnets, NSGs, firewalls, peering.
- Identity & access management. Entra ID, OAuth.
- Relational databases.
- Functional programming exposure.
- PostgreSQL.
